Test Wafer Services

Test Wafers

Wafers used for evaluating semiconductor manufacturing equipment, materials, and electrical properties, also known as dummy wafers. Depending on the evaluation, a variety of test wafers such as bare wafers, blanket film-coated wafers, and patterned wafers are used selectively.

Blanket Film Wafers

Wafers that have undergone deposition processing of semiconductor films, insulating films, metal films, etc., on the substrate, without any further processing. These are also referred to as coated wafers, deposition wafers, or blanket wafers.

Charge-up Monitor Wafers

In semiconductor manufacturing processes that use plasma or charged particles, the charge from the plasma or charged particles redistributes, penetrating the gate oxide film of the MOS structure to form an electric field.

Trench Pattern Wafers

A patterned wafer that has undergone trench (groove) shaping. It is used for evaluations such as step coverage assessment of deposition equipment.

Compact High-Efficiency
Heat Exchanger Services

Superheated Steam

Refers to steam at a temperature higher than that of saturated steam under a given pressure. It reacts with organic materials to form compounds. Since it can heat to high temperatures in the absence of oxygen, it is used for drying.

Steam Sterilization

Sterilization of powdered food can be performed using superheated steam at atmospheric pressure. Most fungi are killed at temperatures above 130°C. The Heat Beam Cylinder can perform superheated steam sterilization in a dry atmosphere.

Superheated Steam Drying

Superheated steam heats or dries objects by cutting off air. Applications include short-time drying of printed materials and clothes.

Biomethane Hydrogen Production

When biomethane and superheated steam are collided at 600°C over an Ru catalyst, hydrogen is generated. Using the HeatBeam Cylinder allows for the production of hydrogen in a compact device without the need for platinum catalysts.
